Who are we?
Childcare for children ages 0-12
We are a licensed home daycare facility that provides care in a vibrant and cozy learning environment for children of varying ages. We offer full time, part time, and hourly care and meals for up to twelve hours per day, five days a week and before and after school care for school age children.

Infant, Toddler, and Pre-k
I provide a safe and inviting environment for children. Our schedule is consistent, however, our environment, toys, and learning topic is constantly modified to keep children engaged in learning through play. Children are encouraged to explore new topics that spark their interests. Meals are balanced and healthy. We love to talk about our families and different cultures and incorporate other languages in our learning. Art and sensory play are essential in our everyday schedule, so we get messy, but we learn and have fun with it.

School Age Children
I make it a priority to provide a safe and inviting environment. Care for school aged children is provided before and after school, to include homework help, meals, and activities. Children are encouraged to learn about any age-appropriate topics and participate in projects and experiments. Whether they are curious about magnets, weather, dance, or history, we provide learning materials and keep their minds growing while having fun.

A Little About Myself
I am a mother of two and a Navy Veteran. I was an Aircraft Structural Mechanic for six years. Then I pursued other paths, to include truck driving, and cosmetology. I have always enjoyed working with children, learning, and teaching, so, in 2019 I became a daycare teacher for a large daycare home where I was responsible for the care and learning of twelve children. I have also been a full time Nanny for a few families, one I'm particularly proud of was a military family with five children of varying ages. I also have experience working with children who require accommodations due to dietary restrictions and for developmental, behavioral, and physical reasons.
I have wanted to open my own home daycare since 2015, and I finally had the opportunity to do so in 2022. Our facility was licensed by the state of California in July of 2023, and I am thrilled to invite your family into our home.
I am infant and adult CPR and First Aid certified, Health and Safety certified, and KIT certified. We are an inclusive environment for all children.

Our Classroom
Children learn through play and social interactions in early childhood.
Our childcare home is full of toys that are easily accessible and organized to engage children of varying ages.

We constantly rotate our materials to keep the environment interesting and engaging. We have weekly themes, projects, and experiments that we work on in smaller groups or all together. Participation is not mandatory. Learning through play is based on each individual child and we focus on their strengths, level of development, and interests.
Some of the constants of our space are a library, writing area, math area, dramatic play area, blocks, art table, an outdoor play area, and a dining area. There are PECs available for children with communication difficulties.
We are aware of the worry parents may have concerning the quality of care their children are receiving, so our facility has live cameras in the indoor and outdoor play areas that parents may access during operating hours. We do not use any form or corporal punishment, time outs, or reward point systems. We believe that discipline is simply teaching. We support children by teaching social and emotional skills to promote a harmonious environment.

Outdoor Play
Students will have outside time every day as long as the weather permits. Children will play once in the morning and once in the afternoon for 15 to 30 minutes. Our facility has a backyard play area that includes toys, sports equipment, an area to relax, shade, a sand box, and a garden.
Meals
We are what we eat
We serve family style meals for breakfast, lunch, an evening snack, and dinner. Depending on parent's work schedule, children are offered two meals and a snack. We serve a variety of whole grain foods, meat, dairy, fruits, and vegetables to children every day. Our menu is preplanned and posted at our entrance to keep parents informed and involved. Meat substitutes and dairy alternatives are offered upon request. I will work with parents to accommodate any other dietary restrictions.
